Run! O.J., Run!

That's O.J. Simpson carrying the Olympic Torch up the California Incline into Santa Monica in 1984. Look closely and you'll see he's followed by Nichole and her sister, Denise Brown, both wearing red shirts.

Collection of Dr. Thomas Feder and Dr. Mahvash Navazesh

My dentist presented me with an interesting project: to create a special photomontage to be given his mother on her 75th birthday. This composition includes the only existing photo of Grandpa Barney surrounded by their only ones of Grandma. Now, their family shares this image of Grandpa and Grandma brought together at again at last.

I'll need to dig myself out

Such is life for us Post-Neanderthals, getting by on peanuts deep in the catacombs of Babylon.

Soda Straw Stalactites

Talk about getting in a little deep, these limestone tubes took millions of years to form from water dripping slowly off the ceiling of Mitchell's Caverns, located in the East Mojave Desert Scenic Area of California.

Summer In Winter

This Photoshop composition was used to promote a UCLA Master of Dance program featuring Martinus Miroto and Iris Pell. I also used it to illustrate my 1994 Winter Solstice greeting card.

I happened upon this sight about twenty years ago in a Topiary Store on the Santa Monica Pier. When I raised my camera to shoot, I got a loud scolding by two little old ladies. They wasted no time in asking me to leave their store. I complied, but not before snapping this cool pic.

Fairfax Man

Once upon a time, I worked a counter in a photolab. It was on Fairfax just off of 3rd Street in downtown Los Angeles, kitty-corner from Farmers Market. I really enjoyed the wonderful characters who'd come by and visit me, especially this fellow, who was kind enough to let me take his picture.

Roscoe and His Dog Mack

A moment after this shot was taken, he actually poured beer into his dog's ear. Believe is or not, Max didn't even protest. Such is the unconditional love of this man's best friend.

My left thumb; not good for much, but it does match the right all right.
