To replace them, we are entering the age of Internet Home Movies!Now that nearly everyone has a Web Page and a video camera, its time to start putting that boring footage up on the Web! I use a Sharp 8mm ViewCam, but any camera will do. The degradation of getting down to an appropriate bandwidth will eliminate any need for high resolution. I capture the video to my hard drive with an Osprey 100 capture card. I like the Osprey 100 because it has NT 4.0 drivers. I encode the Video for Windows (.avi) files with RealPublisher from RealNetworks.
